Soya chunks and potato masala

welcome back to GET FROM MOM.

Well, today I am going to give a tutorial on how to make a healthy masala with soya chunks and potato.

probably a school going child will surely expect something to eat after school.And being a mom we would like to give a healthy dishes to munch.But when we attempt there comes a tug of war between parent and child.Instead, try to pack the nutrients in a healthy way and this recipe is such a kind.

you can give it either in roll or between a bread. Don't strain much it tastes great when you eat it plain.

so here comes my recipe.

RECIPE: SOYA CHUNKS AND POTATO MASALA

COOKING TIME: 25 MINS

SERVINGS: FOUR PERSONS

INGREDIENTS:

*SOYA CHUNKS -1 /2 CUP (BIG SIZE)

* POTATO - 2 NOS

*BUTTER -2 TSP

* GINGER GARLIC PASTE -1 TSP

* CHOPPED BIG ONION -1 NO

* CHOPPED CORIANDER LEAVES - 2 TSP

* CHOPPED TOMATO - 2 NO

* GARAM MASALA - 1 TSP

* RED CHILLY POWDER - 1/4 TSP

*SWEET CORN - OPTIONAL

* GREEN CHILLY - 1

* SALT- AS REQUIRED

METHOD:

STEP 1: 

BOIL SOYA CHUNKS WITH 1/2 TSP SALT FOR 10 MINS OR UNTIL CHUNKS BECOMES SOFT. I AM USING BIG CHUNKS SO I SLICED IT. IF YOU ARE USING SMALL CHUNKS NO NEED TO SLICE.

STEP 2: BOIL THE POTATOES WITH 1/4 SPN SALT AND SMASH THEM ROUGHLY.

STEP 3: BOIL AND KEEP A CUP OF SWEET CORN. AND THIS STEP IS PURELY OPTIONAL.

STEP 4: TAKE A PAN AND ADD SOME BUTTER TO IT. IF YOU ARE A SOUTH INDIAN AFTER IT MELTS ADD MUSTARD AND CURRY LEAVES UNLESS SKIP IT.

 AFTER THE MUSTARD CRACKLES ADD ONIONS AND SAUTE FOR 2 MINS.

STEP 5: ADD GINGER GARLIC PASTE AND SAUTE FOR ANOTHER 2 MINS ON LOW FLAME.

STEP 6: NOW ADD GREEN CHILLI AND TOMATO AND VERY LITTLE SALT TO MIXTURE.( REMEMBER WE HAD ADD SALT TO BOILED ITEMS )

STEP 6: NOW ADD BOILED SOYA CHUNKS POTATO AND SWEET CORN TO THE MIXTURE.

STEP 6: ITS TIME FOR MASALA, ADD RED CHILLY POWDER AND GARAM MASALA AND STIR WELL ONCE AGAIN. YOU HAVE DONE IT. ENJOY THIS WRAPPED OR SANDWICHED MANNER.

TIPS:

ADDING CHILLY POWDER AT STEP 4 WILL GIVE YOUR DISH A RED COLOUR.

YOU CAN ADD PEAS. CAULIFLOWER, MUSHROOM, CARROT AND BEANS.

YOU CAN USE THIS OVER DOSA TOO.

IF YOU WANT IT IN A GRAVY STYLE ADD SOME COCONUT MILK. THIS WILL GIVE YOU AN ENRICHED TASTE TO YOUR DISH.

How to get rid off silver articles

Welcome  to Get From Mom .

Each and every women feels tough to clean their home and maintenance really sucks lot of time and money. If there comes any tricks to cut both that spent for cleaning means won't you accept it?

Well and today I am going to give such a magical trick to clean silver articles easily without buying any special materials.

So ,for this I am having using white toothpaste( Colgate) and you can use white tooth powder (same Colgate ) too. 

Now let us see the essential things:

1.Silver idol

2. Old tooth brush/ baby brush.

3. White cotton cloth

4. White tooth paste/ powder.

5. Water 

6. Vibhooti/ bashma (ash)

Step 1: brush the idol with plain water.

Step 2: brush the idol with Colgate tooth paste now. No need to add more water. If you are using tooth powder then touch your brush in water and rub it.rub your idol again and again until all parts gets completely covered with froth.

Step 3: the tooth brush will clean the minute details also.When you felt that it become dry then dip in water and brush it twice.

Step 4: now use the dry white cotton cloth and wipe the idol completely. now you can notice no dirt's almost. If you found then do step 2.

Step 5: to maintain this cleaned look . Dust your idol with vibhooti and using pure cotton cloth wipe the idol thoroughly. Your idol surely won't have any black dots or any odd looks.

So , finally you don't need to use any costly products to clean your everyday day silver pooja items. And it becomes really easy to maintain the freshness in the articles. 

This will lasts for more than 20 days with the freshness if you  keep it away from camphor.

Note: if you want to use for dinning plates then you better rinse it after cleaning with tooth paste and pat dry  then wipe with tissue paper and use it.

welcome to GET FROM MOM, a blog where you can get many ideas. Well, today I am going to reveal some helpful hacks for PREGNANT women.

first of all, congratulations for you to be a  new mom,

I can hear the voice that I am not yet a mom, I am just conceived, right??

the first thing that I need to clear is that you are a mom now.

surprised??

yes, you are a mom for a child who is inside a black dark box but, you don't know the child's face and you can't hear their voice that's it.

So, first, you have to believe that you are having a baby with u like a kangaroo have their kids in their pouch.

Okay, I believe so what?

There is more to go. Think that if u are having a baby in your hand what you will do?

*Feed them
* Play with them

*Teach things

* Love them

So you can see their response right?

Same things you have to do for your unborn little one too...Only thing is you have to think your bulged tummy as your child.

Just feed your tummy at regular time intervals like feeding your baby

Teach the things whichever attracts you.feels joking? Definitely not.

You may ask how an inborn can understand the things outside? And the answer is researchers were searching to find the inborn amazing intelligence reasons.it means they can do it, and human is
still searching results for how it is doing?

It's really true they can imagine everything that you teach. They can well understand your commands they do responds to your speech by kicking but you have to feel it. 

And never hesitate to speak with your inborn especially after 5 months.They become more attentive. 

So okay how can I speak and what should I speak? 

You have to speak about your surroundings in particular about sounds, smells, things you see like nature admire it to them, foods, relationship, read books aloud.( Not so loud like speaking in a gathering)

For example, if you are hearing a song means to convey it to your baby that we are going to enjoy a melody beats baby. So wait I am going to play it. And also include your family member in your speech like your dad likes this song very much.

So when it became your everyday practise to hear songs after you conveying it to your little one, they also start to love the music and they will enjoy it.

How can I feel the baby is enjoying?

Right, the answer is only a mom can feel. whenever you play it they will start to react by kicks.

And also very aggressive kicks means that they hate it. And little kicks says they love it.

What else I have to do during my pregnancy?

Stimulation is the best answer. 

Stimulating a baby can be done only after birth but how can I do it when he/she is inside my womb?

1. Light stimulation

2. Sound stimulation

3. Smell stimulation

4. Taste stimulation

5. Read stimulation

Light stimulation, how can I do?

Just after 7+ months, your child will have a very good vision ability on this time you have to pass a light touch on your tummy from left to right and vice verse remember to do this at night time and while doing this switch off your room lights too. Do clockwise 3 rotation and anticlockwise 3 rotation. Switch off the light. Do this every day before you going to sleep make everything a routine.later it became their own habits

Sound stimulation?

Have a baby drum and drum it once or twice a day and observe the baby response. Playing a song. Making your birds sing and standing nearby. But the main thing is you have to observe each and every movement of your baby if the kick is faster then understand that they don't like that and just stop the music or action.

Smell stimulation?

Just smell a fragrance and convey your baby like, baby mama smelled pink coloured beautiful rose and you know that this is smelling sweet. And I like this very much.

Taste stimulation?

Similarly whatever you eat kindly convey your little princess that, you are eating a sweet or spicy food.And also tell them in brief manner like how you prepared that food and whose favourite is that. just speak out all the things to them. Don't be shy without expressing, because my mom says that I am not growing a single infant in my womb but a generation and their characteristics. And I believed those words strongly and feeling the result now.

Read stimulation?

Last but NOT least, read stimulation really matters a lot. That may decide a  

Baby character so choose wise books and read it aloud.

so, the purpose of stimulation is to make our baby to be aware about their surroundings . Following these types of stimulation will surely change their attitude to face the situation and later in days become their character.

PAPER ROSETTES FOR PARTY-a step by step pictured tutorial

Hi Welcome Back,

   

    I am very much happy to help your party with my crafts.

In general, we want to host our party in a different manner and we want to host it in budget right??

 A DIY party will fulfil both the criteria and these parties will give you credits as additional.

so, try it with my guide. well, today I am going to give you a simple fan making tutorial and you can make this for your party in your concept colours or in rainbow colours and you can choose the size ranges from very small to much larger one.shall we get in??

Alright, let us have a checklist of things we need to have before involved in making these cute fans.

Materials needed

1.Craft Tissue paper. 

2.scissors

3.glue 

4.buttons (if u have) or simply cut 1 inch round pieces from contrast chart paper.

5. stapler

so have you checked the things?

This fan making really takes 2-3 mins. 

let us do

step 1: Take 2 long tissue paper, unfold it. ( or you can evenly stack and do, but this requires some practice)

here I have shown you the tissue paper but u stack it even

tip: here I have used 12 inches long paper. Explore with various sizes. A square paper means u have to use 3 papers.mine is a rectangle and so 2 paper is enough,

Step 2: Do some accordion fold.it is a kind of front and back fold.

 Step 3: now fold it in the middle as shown in below picture.

Step 4: similarly do for other paper too and have 2 pieces of the same thing.

(if u are doing in a stacked manner, its time to separate the two sheets. so carefully unfold and take out the sheet and then fold as shown in picture)

tip: if u became expert u can stack and fold more than 10 sheets at once and separate them to make 5 fans in 5 mins

Step 5: Trim the edges to either V shape or Round shape(here I have made it round shape)

       And place the 2 separate pieces facing one side like the below one 

 step 6: It's time for glue.just glue the two pieces together

 Step 7: now glue the other side too.stick a 1-inch piece of thick paper in the middle of the fan on either side and stick a double sided tape onto the thick paper and stick it to the place and enjoy seeing.

note: to make it double colour fan, take two colour papers one paper width should be less than the other by 2/4 inches.(remember only the width but don't trim the length). then stack the two paper one above the other and follow from step 2

TERRACOTTA JEWELRY MAKING

This time i am going to give you all a brief tutorial on how to make a terracotta jewelry. do you know that why i am crazy about materialised jewelry?

I usually collect different jewelery of shapes or colours or texture ,But the thing surprised me in this terracotta jewelry is we could make our own designs at almost least costs , which was important for budgeters.so I became more crazy about these jewels and started doing my own pendants and necklaces matched for my party or casual wear.

the next thing which drives my attention is the colouring . Yes, you can customize the chain colour, shape, size and almost the length. This made me to love these kind of jewelry, and at last i became a great fan of these kind of ornaments.And you know one thing I alone did about 160 sets of terraware ornaments as return gift for my kid ear piercing function.

Today, i am here to give you an elaborate tutorial on how to make your own terraware ornaments

1] The most initial thing you need is clay and its moisture. I usually filter out the clay through a sieve before mixing it with water and then mix more amount of water and again i filter out it. Finally I sun dried the clay mixture to get the perfect clay.


But my advice for beginners is to get clay from potter. they usually have the processed clay for making pots and plates. so get clay from them.

There were two type of clay
 I] Air dry clay ( these are type of clay ,you no need to burnt it but have to design it very quickly unless it becomes hard.)

Ii] natural clay, you have to burnt it.( You can work by taking little more time )


2] the next thing is you have to get NICHROME wire (a wire given inside the bulbs), why because this nichrome and not other metals means,this withstands the heat which is needed while burning the ornament. so get the NICHROME wire from online websites.

3] The next thing you need is impression tools,two methods in collecting this tools is

i]collect from stores as each impression tool may costs from 20 rs to 350rs

ii] search for impression tools in and around the home. you are blinking right???

in the above video i have shown you a lot of tools among those the very different tool is pasta or papad used for creating impression.

4] So, we need to design a pendant means , first we have to choose a design right??

so here also you have two options

i] getting silicon moulds and moulding our pendants [this costs a little , market price for simple moulds ranges from 150-550 INR

ii] rough drawing our design in a paper and then doing that on clay


5] so we did our pendant in paper design. now draft the design on clay and insert a nichrome wire on to the pendant

6]let it to sun dry for 2 days and then bake it in oven at 300*c for 1 hour or until the pendant becomes black

7] paint the pendant matched to your dress and enjoy wearing.

QUICK MASALA PORI -TAMIL

this is a pori masala making video.

A great indian evening snack.

ingredients

1. pori
2.gingelly oil
3.salt
4.chilly powder
5.lemon
6.onion
7.tomato
8.cucumber
9.coriander leaves
10.mango scrubs
11.boiled peanuts


step 1: first coat the pori with oil and add some chilly powder and salt and mix the things

step 2: Add the onion , chopped tomato, cucumber, mango scrubs , peanuts and a few drops of lemon mix and serve

Hope you love to wear silk thread jewelry. I learnt this silk thread jewelry making in just one day. And I am going to give tutorial s on how to make the gorgeous jewelry for yourself . So follow my upcoming post in Google plus.

First thing in making jewelry is to get some base. Base is most important and it have to be in polished manner and not with designs or rough surface.

Then thread also plays a main role, you have to choose threads matching to your dress always choose 2 to 3 colours to make it to look nice. Then the third thing u need will be fevicol to make the thread to sit on the base. And we need a scissor along with a 30cm hard cardboard to wrap the thread, some rhine stoned And kundan stones.
